Welcome to my website! I'm John Mann, sometimes known as
"The Electric Mann".
I've been in the Home Remodelling arena for over twenty years as an Electrical Contractor and later as a General Contractor. I've seen just about everything there is to see is Residential Remodelling some of it Excellent and some of it ....... Shall we say "Not So Excellent."
There are always problems to overcome in just about any remodelling project, especially if the parties involved have not done any remodelling before and/or worked together before. Just deal with it. Things aren't going to go as pefectly as planned and so the objective is to get things done as close to plan as possible without losing your mind.
And that's what I aim to help you learn to do. If you have a definite plan, work the design process to accomodate your needs and wants as fully as possible (to avoid changes late - more about "Change Orders" later .......) If your budget is accurate, if you choose your contractor(s) carefully, if you actually get going .......
Something is still going to go wrong. Nowhere else in life does "Murphy's Law" raise his ugly head so visibly as in any type of Remodelling.
Just accept it. It is what it is. I'll help you get through it, so just relax and let's have some fun.
